Bishop Robert Wanjala Makona and Jenerose Nekesa were married on May 13, 1977. God has blessed them with nine children, including 5 girls (Henrietta, Annette, Adah, Vanessa and Fiona) and 4 boys (Asantos, Kraus, Vovak and Calvin).   Presently, some of their children are married. They are blessed with 30 grandchildren too. All the children who are at home are in school (secondary and primary) and they have a desire to serve God after school is over. Please pray for this family for the Lord’s protection as they do work of the ministry that God has called them to.

2012 – Honorary Degree– Doctorate of Biblical Education–Cross Bible College(USA).

2015– Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Management –Kisii University–Kitale Campus.
